Thurnscoe Community Plaza
Thurnscoe Community Plaza was opened on 5th June 2022, creating a space for parkour, skate, scooters and bikes alongside amphitheatre seating.
The design has developed over a period of time in consultation with many groups and residents and now includes a fantastic community garden area with a beautiful bespoke sculpture for Thurnscoe at the heart of this space. Further developments are being planned for this area as the team work to improve this central green space and recreational facility.
