Every picture tells a story, they say, and the selfie boards celebrating key locations and groups in the Dearne area is the biggest community art project and legacy art undertaken by DCAF so far. Linking to BMBC’s ‘Love Where You Live’ and funded by the Stronger Towns Fund regeneration of Goldthorpe, the project links design (by local groups working with artist Lydia Caprani) and storytelling (with local groups working with storyteller Rebeca Dye) with the practical function of ‘wayfinding’. Follow the selfie board trail (thanks to Cosmographics’ map of the Dearne area) and take your photo at each of the sixteen selfie boards to celebrate this amazing community!
